Accessibility statement

Updated 4 September 2026

Resovu wants the booking form to be usable by everyone — including people using a screen reader, navigating by keyboard alone, or needing more contrast. This statement sets out where the booking form stands today.

The standard we measure against

We follow EN 301 549, which adopts WCAG 2.1 at level AA. It is the standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882), enforceable since 28 June 2025.

What is in place

  • The whole booking can be completed with a keyboard alone; the focus indicator is visible and meets 3:1 contrast.
  • Form errors are tied to the field they belong to and announced to screen readers; focus moves to the confirmation once a booking completes.
  • The payment picker is a real radio group, icon-only buttons have names, and required fields are not marked by a coloured asterisk alone.
  • The business chooses its own brand colour, but the text colour on it is computed so that it stays readable.

What is not done yet

We know about the following and are working on them:

  • Content written by the business (service names, consent texts) carries no language of its own — if it differs from the page language, a screen reader will pronounce it wrongly.
  • Calendar day names are localised for only some of the languages we support.

For businesses using Resovu

Under the European Accessibility Act the statement is published by the service provider — that is you, not Resovu. You may reuse the text above as the booking-form section of your own statement; it describes the form as it runs on your site.
